TKCS offers a comprehensive payroll service, which extends from the enrollment of the employee to the calculation of salary payments, covering the entire process.

The Shops and Office Employees (Regulation of Employment and Remuneration) Act No 19 of 1954, covers the employees in all shops and offices in Sri Lanka and Wages Boards Ordinance covers the factory workers. 

We facilitate you to comply with the labor laws in Sri Lanka regarding the remuneration paid.    

Our payroll services

Payroll is a task that has to be submitted with precise scrutiny within a short time. It tends to be an elaborate process that has complicated adjustments due to payouts and deductions.

We commit ourselves to providing our clients with a confidential service as payroll information is sensitive to any organization. We specialize in providing our clients with the following services;

  • ✓ Drafting employment contracts
  • ✓ Maintenance of personal files
  • ✓ Registering the company and employees under Employee Provident Fund (EPF)
    • The EPF was established under the Act No. 15 of 1958 and is currently the largest social security scheme in Sri Lanka. According to the EPF Act, an employee is required to contribute a minimum of 8% and the employer a minimum of 12% monthly of the total salary of the employee that is liable for EPF.
  • ✓ Registering the company under Employee Trust Fund (ETF)
    • The ETF was established on 1st March 1981 under the provisions of ETF Act No. 46 of 1980. A 3% of the total salary of the employee liable for ETF is payable to the ETF Board monthly by the employer.
  • ✓ Payroll calculations
  • ✓ Issuing pay slips to employees
  • ✓ Compliance with employee payments related to taxes
  • ✓ Gratuity calculations
    • According to the Payment of Gratuity Act No. 12 of 1983, if an employee who has worked beyond 5 years of continuous service resigns, an accumulated payment of the employee’s half month salary multiplied by the number of years worked should be paid to the particular employee.
  • ✓ Bonus calculations
